Our profile – The whole project began back in 1980 when, after finishing a Master’s in Philosophy, Andrea Moradei founded, in collaboration with other teachers, the Italian language and culture centre for foreigners, Koinè. This was the start of all our Italian language and culture programs and our cultural tourism offer. In 1996 we opened the Enoteca de’ Giraldi, offering a cultural approach to Tuscan wine and food. The Enoteca was, right from the beginning, both a wine restaurant and a place to meet for people interested in wine tasting, cooking lessons and wine tours. In 2003 we opened the wine and food services agency Vinarium, in the aim of offering the best of our wine and food culture, and at the same time assuring enjoyment and professionalism to our clients. Today Vinarium offers guided wine tasting in the best Florentine enotecas, cooking lessons in historical buildings and guided tours of the best Tuscan wine makers. In May 2009 we founded the Italian language and culture school Centro Italiano in Florence, in the belief that people interested in learning Italian are generally driven by the desire to find out more about the culture and history of this country. Now we have started a new project: this online travel planner for your customized programs in Italy and in Tuscany. |
